Ben Sharples | Technical Solution Specialist | Tector

Ben will take you through an innovative, low-effort solution that helps prevent water from damaging your project, whether it be timber, brick or concrete.

He will cover the hidden financial and environmental costs of water ingress, with the many challenges and delays it adds to projects. You’ll come away with an understanding of what causes the issue and how to prevent it in future projects.

Ben will give you specific examples of real-life damages and cases where sensor technology has prevented that type of damage. The presentation will also touch on how the sensors are installed, how the software interface works, and how the underlying algorithm allows critical conditions to be detected automatically at scale.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the root cause of water ingress issues.
  • Leverage technology that will lower cost of repairs and delays on your projects.
  • Feel comfortable specifying the technology into projects.
